Since the demand for a green environment, GEMCO is on the forefront to ensure that the renewable energy is being used and the waste is used as wood as wood fuel. The first stage is reducing the size of the pellets using a feed system and a drum chipper. The drum chipper is designed in such a way that it reduces the sizes of the solid waste and round logs. Next is using the hammer mill to ground them in to powder form in this case air is used to ensure that the powder flow in the holes. The pellets are then dried and baled; the main purpose of drying is to ensure that the pellets obtain the required moisture. Next, it is passed through the rotary and then packed.
