This type mobile pellet mill is most suitable for processing softwood and crop waste than other types. Besides, it cost less than other types of mobile pellet mill.

* However, if you have hardwood materials like beech, mahogany, teak, walnut, oak, ash, elm, aspen, poplar, birch, maple or other deciduous trees, we strongly recommend you to choose R-type mobile pellet mill. Because of its unique working principle (roller rotates instead of die rotates) and high resistant main parts roller and die, it can produce higher quantity of hardwood pellets per hour compared to D-type mobile pellet mill. But when making hardwood pellets, you’d better add some softwood powder into it in order to increase its yield.
Although R-type pellet mill has much higher price than D-type mobile pellet mill, if you take the input-output ratio and production cost into consideration, you will find R-type pellet mill cost less in making the same quantity of hardwood pellets.
